These are a very sweetly matching and unmatching set of wedding bands for Ellie and James.
James wanted quite a plain ring in yellow gold and Ellie wanted something funky and brimming with personality. I made both of the rings in wax keeping the organic values in James ring quite low but with enough character that the pair were clearly a set. Eillie’s ring needed to sit around her existing engagement ring so the ring has undulations in thickness and circularity. Three brown diamonds off set the garnet and diamond of her engagement ring.
I love the way these two rings are clearly related but absolutely reflect the different personalities of their wearers.
