I’ve been making a series of object charms- can you tell I’ve been living in London for a while!?
Bricks are great because they are such a standard big city object but they leave so much room for interpretation. They are sturdy building blocks and absolutely foundational - great to represent strength and stability but they are also weaponised in riots and represent freedom of speech, power to the masses and a deep questioning of power. So much meaning in one tiny rectangle.
Cast in Brass with one plated in 9ct Rose Gold and the other in 9ct Yellow Gold.
