I found this paua shell on the beach in New Zealand and cleaned it up in my father’s garage. Paua in the Maori name for the sea creature, abolone- and its beautiful with its opalescent, colour-shifting magical qualities.
This dome is from the top of the Paua and the inside is gloriously smooth.
