My Flying Any Pendant is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shiayama. Her body is made from lava, Australian opal, topaz and Paua (New Zealand abalone). The legs, antennae and hairs are etched into the metal and then coloured with a sulphur patina.
This was made on a recycled silver plated pendant so you can see bits of copper smiling through!
